Role:
As a Network Infrastructure Specialist, you design the company’s own IT as well as demanding control technology environments at customers – from standardisation through provisioning to ongoing operation. You actively develop concepts and architectures and contribute your expertise in Microsoft on-premises and cloud technologies, LAN/WAN networks, and firewall systems. Automation with modern tools and a keen eye for cybersecurity go hand in hand for you. In a motivated team, you take responsibility, think solution-oriented, and ensure stable and secure infrastructures through your independent, resilient working style.
Responsibilities:
You take on standardisation, provisioning, and support of the company’s own IT as well as the control technology environments of customer installations
You actively contribute to the design of concepts and architecture and bring your ideas into technical development
You configure, operate, and optimise LAN/WAN networks and firewalls, preferably Cisco and Fortinet
You work with Microsoft on-premises and cloud technologies and ensure their reliable operation
You use automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform where they provide real added value
Additionally, you consistently consider aspects of cybersecurity and are available for customer assignments within the country if required
Qualifications:
You have completed vocational training as an IT specialist EFZ or a comparable qualification
You bring solid knowledge of current Microsoft technologies, both on-premises (server, client) and in the cloud
You have solid experience with LAN/WAN networks and firewalls, preferably Cisco and Fortinet
You ideally know automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform and have an interest in cybersecurity
You are communicative, analytical, and goal-oriented and work independently, proactively, and resiliently
You have a good command of German and English and are willing to travel within the country (driving licence category B)
