About the job
The Schaffhausen Hospitals include the Cantonal Hospital, the Psychiatric Services, the Radiology and Cardiology Posthof Neuhausen practices, as well as the Neurology Practice Schaffhausen Centre. With over 1,700 employees, we ensure the extended medical and nursing basic care of the Schaffhausen region. Annually, we care for approximately 11,000 inpatients and 90,000 outpatients. Additionally, we are an important training centre in the canton.
We offer one training position in the field of Anaesthesia Care NDS HF. The next possible start date for prospective Expert in Anaesthesia Care NDS HF is in autumn 2027.
The Anaesthesia department performs around 6,000 anaesthesias annually in a modern environment across a broad range of specialties.

What Awaits You
- Independent administration and monitoring of general anaesthesia in adults and children (specialties: surgery, urology, gynaecology, orthopaedics, spinal surgery, bariatrics and ENT)
- Professional and holistic care and support of patients during regional anaesthesia
- Resuscitation services throughout the hospital in collaboration with the anaesthesiology specialist
What You Bring to Us
- Qualification at tertiary level as a certified nursing professional HF or Bachelor of Science in Nursing FH or a foreign nursing diploma recognised by the SBFI
- At least 6 months of professional experience in acute care in a hospital
