Role:
In this role, you take overall responsibility for the IT landscape and the strategic development of the SAP systems. You are responsible for planning, managing and optimising all IT and SAP processes and ensuring their stability, security and future viability. You make pioneering architecture and technology decisions and ensure smooth interaction between infrastructure, applications and interfaces. You lead cross-departmental digitalisation and transformation projects and ensure that business requirements are efficiently translated into innovative IT and SAP solutions. As an experienced leader, you coordinate internal and external stakeholders and establish clear governance and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- You lead the IT department both professionally and disciplinarily with five employees and apprentices
- In this role, you bear overall responsibility for the further development and implementation of the IT strategy
- You manage complex projects in the ERP and IT infrastructure environment from planning to implementation
- As Head of IT and SAP Systems, you are responsible for IT security and fulfil the role of CISO
- You work operationally in day-to-day business and support users in the ERP and infrastructure area
- In this role, you act as a sparring partner for management and specialist departments in all IT matters
Qualifications:
- Completed training in business informatics, computer science or a comparable field
- Several years of leadership experience in an industrial environment, ideally as a team leader or deputy IT manager
- Broad IT know-how and enjoyment in taking holistic responsibility for different subject areas
- Practical experience with SAP and/or Microsoft cloud technologies
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
- Strong independence, personal commitment and a pronounced hands-on mentality as a strategic doer
