The University Psychiatric Centre Bern (UPZ) offers comprehensive psychiatric care from early detection through outpatient, day clinic and inpatient treatment to rehabilitation across the entire lifespan. As a university hospital, the UPZ makes a significant contribution to specialised care as well as education, teaching and research. The University Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy sees itself as an innovative, dynamic part of this clinical structure providing care for mentally ill children and adolescents from 0 to 18 years. We work closely with educational and psychological management in trial teams. You will get to know different focal points and can develop further in them. We are happy to support you in your new role as a leader and provide close supervisory support. Our (psycho)therapeutic specialisations are broad, with a focus on dialectical behavioural therapy, systemic therapy (multi-family therapy), depth psychology and outreach therapy. Are you already a specialist in child and adolescent psychiatry and psychotherapy or psychiatry and psychotherapy? We are looking to strengthen our team at the bilingual Biel site. * Are you interested in working at a university clinic and the associated interfaces with teaching and research? * Do you enjoy working in multiprofessional teams and taking on leadership and training responsibilities? * Do you speak German at C1 level and are willing to further develop your language skills? Your tasks
- You are responsible for child and adolescent psychiatric diagnostics and therapy in close interdisciplinary collaboration with our team in the Biel region
- You can be responsible for the outpatient clinic, outpatient crisis intervention or the two day clinics
- You participate in the specialist on-call service
- You take on leadership and training tasks in the assigned clinical units
- Needs-based support and assistance in your professional, personal and leadership development
- Participation in the further development of clinical concepts in close cooperation with a committed, multidisciplinary team
Your profile
- You have successfully obtained a specialist title in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry
- You speak German at C1 level and also French. French skills at B2 level are desirable
- You want to further develop your language skills
- You are motivated to apply diagnostic and treatment concepts according to current evidence-based guidelines and to contribute to the further development of the treatment offer
- You want to take on the challenge of leading competently both professionally and personally
- You can professionally assess a wide variety of situations and respond flexibly and competently
- You have good communication skills, are calm, cooperative and lead authoritatively
