In this role, as a full-stack application developer, you will help shape modern educational offerings and contribute to conveying knowledge that is up to date. You develop applications that support various departments and thus enable university operations efficiently and with a future focus. You bring your professional know-how into the conception, implementation, and further development of solutions used nationally and internationally. You actively contribute to a sustainable, digital future of education using modern technologies and methods.
Responsibilities:
Development and further development of sophisticated business applications throughout the entire software lifecycle with C#/.NET, Vue.js and SQL.
Analysis of technical requirements as well as conception, realisation, and introduction of sustainable technical solutions.
Ensuring code quality, maintainability, and testability through modern engineering practices and automated tests.
Responsibility for build, deployment, and operational processes including CI/CD, monitoring, logging and error analysis.
Participation in architectural decisions, technical innovations, and data-driven optimisation models as well as promotion of knowledge transfer within the team.
Qualifications:
University degree in computer science or a comparable field and at least three years of professional experience in software development.
Very good knowledge of C#/.NET and ideally experience with TypeScript, Vue.js, Python, and relational databases.
Experience in developing modern web applications and using cloud technologies.
Knowledge of containerisation and Kubernetes as well as automated development and deployment processes.
Analytical and conceptual strength, enjoyment of mathematical optimisation problems, and a strong understanding of agile software development.
