As Head of Supply Chain Development, you are responsible for the further development and harmonisation of our global end-to-end processes. You lead the team of Business Process Owners and work closely with Operations and IT. The focus is on the strategic alignment of the supply chain, the introduction of digital solutions, and the establishment of Lean Management.

Your main tasks

• Lead a team of six Business Process Owners, further develop the Supply Chain Development department, and actively shape the strategic direction of the supply chain
• Define, harmonise, and implement global end-to-end processes in close collaboration with operational departments and IT Operations, as well as ensure process standards
• Lead strategically relevant corporate projects and prepare decision-making bases and risk analyses
• Promote technological and digital innovations and evaluate, integrate, and further develop modern IT solutions
• Manage internal and external partners in the implementation of supply chain and digitalisation initiatives and realise the added value of these initiatives
• Establish the methods of continuous improvement and lean management throughout supply chain management as a Lean Ambassador
• Travel activity of around 10% to our locations in Germany, the USA, and China

Your profile

• At least 5 years of experience in an international supply chain organisation, ideally in MedTech, Pharma, or a comparable regulated production environment
• University degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a comparable field
• Sound knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes and experience in the successful introduction of new processes or systems as well as in the implementation of operational optimisations
• Very good experience in change management and project management as well as in cross-functional collaboration in a matrix organisation
• Good knowledge of ERP (ideally SAP S/4HANA), planning systems, data management, and system integration
• High IT affinity and the ability to translate business requirements together with IT into scalable digital solutions
• Strategic and analytical thinking, experience with business cases and investment decisions, as well as in prioritising transformation initiatives
• Fluent German and English skills (each at least C1)
