On behalf of one of our partners active in the field of precision mechanics, we are looking for a Conventional Lathe Operator-Setter (M/F).
Your future responsibilities:
You will prepare, set up and operate conventional lathes.
You will carry out various turning operations in accordance with plans and technical requirements.
You will perform batch changes, tool changes and the various adjustments necessary for production.
You will read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturing documents.
You will inspect the first parts as well as the production using various measuring instruments.
You will make the necessary corrections and adjustments to ensure the dimensional conformity of the parts.
You will monitor production while ensuring compliance with quality criteria.
You will carry out dimensional and visual inspections of machined parts.
You will ensure routine maintenance and first-level servicing of the equipment.
You will work independently while respecting procedures, quality standards and safety instructions.
Your profile:
You have a solid experience in conventional turning.
Ideally, you have 15 to 20 years or more of experience in machining, mechanics or precision mechanics.
You have excellent mastery of setting up and starting conventional lathes.
You are fully autonomous in producing mechanical parts.
You master reading and interpreting technical drawings.
You are comfortable using various measuring and dimensional control instruments.
You are able to identify production deviations and make the necessary corrections.
You possess excellent technical know-how acquired through several years of experience in the field.
You are recognised for your precision, rigour and sense of responsibility.
You are an autonomous, reliable, careful and methodical person.
You appreciate precision work and pay particular attention to the quality of the parts produced.
