In this role, you contribute to shaping the future of railway infrastructure and participate in the effective financial management of major extension programmes. You work closely with the network development management within the Infrastructure division and play a central role at the interface between the Confederation and internal partners. You join a performance- and collaboration-oriented team where knowledge is shared. You will develop your professional and personal skills and expand your network in a highly exposed environment. What you can influence.
- As a Finance Business Partner, you financially steer the extension programmes and ensure that projects are carried out purposefully, on time and within budget.
- For the Network Development management, you assume the role of Business Partner and, for Infrastructure Finance, you are the main contact person for the Federal Office of Transport (FOT).
- You maintain control over costs and deadlines in controlling and continuously develop risk management methods and tools.
- You are responsible for cost billing, establish reliable multi-year planning and prepare recipient-appropriate reporting for the Confederation and internal stakeholders.
- Well-founded analyses provide clear bases for decision-making to management and thus contribute to the successful implementation of the programmes.
- You initiate improvements in financial controlling and programme processes and standards and advance their implementation.
What you bring.
- Thanks to your excellent communication skills, you gain the trust of your interlocutors and convince them with clear argumentation.
- You work very independently, think analytically and in scenarios, and take responsibility with tangible commitment.
- You engage effectively in dialogue with stakeholders and exert influence to advance decisions.
- You have several years of experience in controlling and confidently use systems and tools for planning, reporting and analyses.
- You have successfully completed university or university of applied sciences studies in business management or finance and controlling, or a technical education supplemented by business management training.
- You have at least C1 level German. You have B2 level French knowledge or are willing to refresh it. A2 level Italian knowledge is an advantage.
