Our client is the Swiss subsidiary of a globally active corporate group in the field of hydraulics, drive technology and customised system solutions. Here you work in a technically strong SME environment with international backing, short distances and close proximity to design, assembly, production and customer projects.

What to expect

• You create drawings, schematics, parts lists and technical documentation for hydraulic assemblies.
• You develop engineering and production documents for customised projects.
• You support project managers and sales in technical clarifications.
• You clarify technical questions with customers, suppliers and internal departments.
• You work with 2D and 3D CAD and maintain existing design data meticulously.

What you bring

• You have completed training as a certified designer (EFZ) or a comparable technical basic education in mechanical engineering.
• You have experience in apparatus construction, mechanical engineering or assembly design.
• Initial knowledge in hydraulics, pneumatics or drive technology is an advantage.
• You work confidently with 2D and 3D CAD, ideally with Solid Edge or Inventor.
• You are proficient with MS 365 (including Teams and SharePoint) and enjoy meticulous data maintenance in technical systems.
• You communicate confidently in German and have English skills; French is a plus.
• You work in a structured, precise manner and ask in good time when technical points need to be clarified.

Onboarding & Training

You don’t start alone at the screen but first get to know the products, processes and people. Experienced colleagues take you into the world of hydraulics and show you how a technical idea becomes a functioning movement. Sometimes it’s about compact assemblies weighing a few kilograms, sometimes about systems where several tonnes are guided, lifted or moved precisely. This is exactly where your design becomes visible: in clean function, safe movement and technical elegance.

With every task, your technical understanding grows. You familiarise yourself with internal standards, CAD and PDM processes as well as hydraulic systems and receive support when questions arise. Step by step, you understand not only how individual assemblies are designed but also the impact your work has on the finished product and its function. This way, you develop into a reliable contact person for assemblies, technical clarifications and demanding customer solutions.
