What is my role?

As a 2nd Level IT Support, you are the point of contact when things get tricky! You handle support requests that go beyond the standard – whether via ticketing system, telephone, or email. You analyse faults, prioritise them cleverly, and get to the root of the problems. When things get really complex, you escalate to 3rd Level Support or external partners. You install and configure workstation systems, peripheral devices, and standard software, keeping everything running smoothly. You also assist in managing Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and client environments. You are involved in exciting IT projects and the introduction of new hardware and software solutions. You keep an eye on service quality and continuously optimise support processes. Additionally, you train users on IT questions and provide them with advice and support. After the induction period, you also perform on-call duty (max. 1 week per month).

What do I need to be successful?

You have completed training as an IT specialist EFZ, ICT professional, or something comparable. Ideally, you already have professional experience in IT support, preferably in 2nd Level Support. Microsoft Windows client and server environments as well as Microsoft 365 are not foreign to you but your daily playground. You work analytically and in a structured manner and have a knack for problem-solving. Service orientation and professional appearance are a matter of course for you – after all, you are the face of IT support! You work independently, reliably, and responsibly, but at the same time are a true team player who is flexible and helpful. Swiss German language skills are a must, English skills are a plus. And very importantly: you hold a driving licence.
