SAP Basis Administration Lead (m/f/d)

Customers include leading companies in the aerospace and turbines, industrial and transportation, as well as luxury goods and med tech sectors.
Role:
As SAP Basis Administration Lead, you actively shape the stable and secure operation of a modern SAP S/4HANA platform in RISE. In this role, you take responsibility for the authorisation concept, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage the governance of the entire system landscape. You analyse existing structures, identify optimisation potentials and implement appropriate measures to further develop the platform. In doing so, you act as a competent contact person for SAP authorisation issues and advise internal stakeholders on secure and efficient solutions. Through your structured approach and technical know-how, you contribute decisively to making the SAP environment future-proof and high-performing.
Responsibilities:
- You are responsible for the operation, availability and performance of the SAP system landscape (ECC/S/4HANA in SAP RISE).
- In this role, you plan and execute system upgrades, patches, support packages and technical migrations.
- As SAP Basis Administration Lead, you take on the technical leadership of basis topics and coordinate external partners.
- You ensure compliance and segregation of duties (SoD) within the SAP systems.
- In this role, you design, implement and further develop the SAP authorisation concept, including the management of roles and profiles in SAP S/4HANA and Fiori.
- You provide professional support for SAP BTP and Cloud ALM and take on third-level support including root cause analyses for complex technical issues.
Qualifications:
- You have a university degree in business informatics, computer science or an equivalent qualification.
- You have at least 5 years of professional experience in SAP authorisations and/or in the SAP basis or platform environment.
- Sound knowledge of SAP S/4, Fiori and modern authorisation concepts characterises you.
- Ideally, you bring practical experience with the operating model "RISE with SAP".
- You combine analytical thinking with strong communication and consulting skills.
- Very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written, complete your profile.
