Strategic Product Manager – Focus on Legal Protection & Motor Vehicle Insurance 80-100%

About the job

For our PM team in Ostermundigen, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a solution-oriented, forward-thinking and holistic personality with overall responsibility for the legal protection portfolio as well as vehicle insurance. You will take on a key role in which your ideas and commitment make a decisive contribution. In this position, you will specifically contribute to the strategic topics of the portfolio, set impulses and share responsibility for implementation.

You build bridges within the TCS and create real added value for our members. Become part of our product management team in the B2C area and help drive the Touring Club Switzerland forward with us.

Your challenges

• Creation and responsibility for product strategies in the responsible portfolios
• Further development of the value proposition as well as conception of product innovations with a view to added value for our members
• Creation and evaluation of business cases, profitability and impact analyses as a basis for decisions
• Hub function in the management of product-specific external partners
• Monitoring and controlling the financial success of the product portfolios
• Close cooperation with internal stakeholders and marketing units to ensure marketing success
• Technical leadership and active participation in (partial) projects
• Working in a dynamic environment with many opportunities to influence in order to identify future trends and realise opportunities

How to succeed in your start

• Completed studies in business administration, further training with a professional certificate in the insurance environment, marketing or product management or a comparable qualification
• At least 5 years of solid professional experience in a comparable PM function
• B2C marketing understanding, ideally in the insurance environment
• Holistic thinking and structured breakdown of complex topics into measurable and improvable steps
• Independent and implementation-strong working style in customer-oriented product development
• Knowledge of modern methods of product development and customer experience
• Cross-functional communication skills with confident German and good French skills or vice versa; English is an advantage
• As a team player, you feel comfortable in a cross-functional organisation
• Your presence and argumentative strength as well as your confident stakeholder management complete your profile
