Healthcare Application Manager (m/f/d)
Role:
As a Healthcare Application Manager, you will manage a clinical information system (CIS) as well as other specialised applications in the medical environment. You will act as a central mediator between specialist departments, external suppliers, and internal IT teams. You will formulate requirements from everyday clinical practice so that they become technically feasible. Responsibilities:
You ensure the stable operation of the applications you are responsible for and keep an eye on performance, availability, and resource consumption.
In the event of application-related disruptions, you take over the analysis, solve the problem or manage the processing and offer short-term workarounds.
Furthermore, you specify professional requirements, place them with the supplier, and test the delivered functions.
You prepare releases and rollouts, test them, and introduce new functions in a controlled manner into productive use.
Additionally, you maintain operational, system, and user documentation and advise users on applications and processes.
You also participate in cross-departmental projects and actively shape the clinical application landscape.
Qualifications:
Your foundation is a degree in computer science, business or medical informatics, or an equivalent qualification.
You bring several years of experience in application support, with insights into hospital processes being a clear advantage.
Experience with a clinical information system and the associated processes rounds off your profile.
You are confident in handling application servers, databases, and interfaces, and standards such as HL7 are familiar to you.
Moreover, you have solid ICT knowledge and speak the same language as colleagues from network, server, client engineering, and IAM.
You also impress with structured thinking, initiative, and a service-oriented manner, expressing yourself clearly in German both orally and in writing.
