The Hirslanden Clinic has a total of 22 beds available. The focus areas of our interdisciplinary intensive care nursing department include, among others, the specialties of cardiac, visceral and neurosurgery. YOUR TASKS
- Organisational and professional support of the intensive care unit nursing team, as well as active participation in nursing in shift work
- Independent coordination of the 22 beds of the intensive care unit and the beds of the monitoring station in collaboration with the intensive care physician during early and late shifts
- Checking and monitoring the specified quality standards and characteristics of the clinic, in cooperation with the management team
- Instruction, support and advice for the staff of the intensive care unit in nursing, professional as well as administrative and organisational matters
- Responsible and empathetic leadership of a team of approximately 20 employees
- Conducting employee interviews and qualifications as well as recognising the resources of the employees and their targeted promotion and motivation
- Conducting team meetings, regular exchange with the management team and trainers as well as taking on additional responsibilities such as subprojects in various fields of work (further training, equipment, etc.)
YOUR PROFILE
- You are trained as a certified expert in intensive care nursing NDS HF or have an equivalent specialist further education in intensive care nursing and have at least five years of professional experience in an intensive care unit of a Swiss acute hospital
- You may have already gained some leadership experience and enjoy leading, promoting and developing a team
- You want to combine different profiles in your profession – with us you can coordinate, lead and work at the bedside in a balanced ratio
- Solution-oriented and entrepreneurial thinking and acting
