In this responsible key position, you bear overall responsibility for the nursing department of an established acute care hospital. Your Tasks
- Overall responsibility for the nursing department in terms of expertise, personnel, organisation and economics
- Further development of the department together with the management team
- Promotion and coaching of managers as well as establishment of a trust-based leadership culture
- Implementation and further development of the strategic orientation of the nursing department
- Ensuring and continuous optimisation of nursing quality, processes and innovations
- Responsibility for budget, resource planning and target achievement
- Close cooperation with medical and interprofessional partners
- Active participation in overarching hospital issues as a member of the extended management
Our Requirements
- Completed training as a qualified nurse (HF/FH or equivalent)
- Ideally further training in management, leadership or business administration
- Strong leadership, communication and social skills
- Experience in acute care and in leading larger teams
- Knowledge of quality and process management (e.g. Lean approaches advantageous)
- Entrepreneurial thinking and a good understanding of business contexts
- Hands-on mentality and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
