Educator Interns for our Special Education Classes (M/F/X) - 6 months at 100%

The Childhood and Transition sector of the Vernand Foundation supports the development of nearly 200 pupils presenting with autism spectrum disorder and/or intellectual development disorder.

To contribute to our inclusive goals and ensure the well-being, potential development, and autonomy of the pupils, we are looking for our special education classes located in Cossonay, Nyon and the Lausanne region:

We offer you

• A meaningful activity in a school environment, contributing to the development of children with intellectual disabilities and aiming to make them as autonomous as possible in their daily and future lives.
• A professional environment carefully designed and adapted to the specific needs of the pupils.
• The possibility to complete 800 hours of internship as part of admission to higher education institutions in the social sector.
• Internship supervision provided by a professional in the field.
• An excellent working atmosphere within a multidisciplinary team.
• A paid internship.

We ask you to:

• Be of legal age and have completed compulsory schooling.
• Show a keen interest in special education and working with children with intellectual disabilities.
• Have skills to propose creative activities and to lead educational and recreational workshops.

End date: 9 July 2027
Location to be agreed: Nyon, Cossonay or Lausanne region
