Our client is an internationally active Swiss high-tech company focused on the development and manufacture of highly precise technical systems for demanding applications. Responsibilities:
You manage strategic purchasing within your area of responsibility.
You select, evaluate, and develop suppliers in an international environment.
You continuously check conditions, availability, and delivery times.
You define suitable procurement strategies early for projects.
You analyse procurement risks and initiate appropriate measures.
You evaluate supplier performance and implement improvements.
You keep master data, prices, and purchasing information up to date in the ERP system.
You collaborate across departments on purchasing projects and process optimisations.
Qualifications:
Technical apprenticeship with further training in purchasing, supply chain, or business administration.
Several years of experience in technical or industrial purchasing.
Practical experience in supplier management and procurement planning.
Good knowledge of ERP systems and bills of materials.
Technical understanding of machines, equipment, or industrial components.
Analytical and cost-conscious working style with strong negotiation skills.
Independent demeanour and good collaboration with internal specialist departments.
Very good German skills and good English skills, both spoken and written.
