Project Manager Shopfitting (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF105,000 - 115,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager / Construction Manager Shopfitting for the holistic planning and realisation of demanding shopfitting and interior construction projects. You will take over the projects from the first customer meeting through calculation, tendering and execution planning to construction management and turnkey handover. In doing so, you coordinate all planning and execution partners and ensure compliance with costs, deadlines, quality and occupational safety. The position combines technical project management with operational site responsibility in a dynamic retail and interior construction environment.
Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for demanding shopfitting, retail and interior construction projects from project definition to turnkey handover
Conducting needs analyses and project meetings as well as technical consulting of clients
Development and coordination of project, execution and detailed planning in collaboration with internal and external planning partners
Preparation of tender and submission documents, obtaining contractor offers and conducting offer comparisons
Responsibility for calculation, cost control, scheduling and quality assurance throughout the entire project duration
Management of on-site construction supervision as well as coordination of finishing trades, contractors, suppliers and specialists
Organisation and leadership of construction and coordination meetings including scheduling and task management
Management of relevant interfaces between interior construction, building services, electrical, lighting, furnishing and shopfitting elements
Review of measurements, invoices, change orders and contractor services as well as ongoing updating of cost forecasts
Monitoring of occupational safety, execution quality and contractually agreed services on construction sites
Conducting acceptances, defect management and documentation as well as organising the timely handover of keys to the client
Qualifications:
Completed craft or construction technical basic training, ideally supplemented by further training in construction management, project management or interior construction
Training as FH Interior Architect, certified technician HF construction planning or comparable qualification is an advantage
At least 3 years of professional experience in project management in construction, preferably in shopfitting, interior construction or retail
Practical experience in construction management and coordination of various finishing trades
Sound knowledge in tendering, calculation, cost control, scheduling and acceptance
Technical understanding of interior construction, building services and trade interfaces
Very good German language skills spoken and written
