Service Technician – Fire Stations and Workshops
After an introductory period at the Bern headquarters and customer visits accompanied by the division head and colleagues from the technical service, you will gradually train in your field of activity. As a service technician, you will be particularly responsible for commissioning, maintenance and repairs. If you have questions or need support in day-to-day operations, you can count on your colleagues to assist you in a straightforward and pragmatic manner. A well-established and caring team awaits you.
Your tasks
- Point of contact for your customers regarding technical functionalities
- Commissioning within the project team
- Training of technical equipment managers
- Maintenance and servicing work
- Troubleshooting and repair work
- Discussions with the head office in case of complex questions
- Close internal collaboration within the service and with sales colleagues
- Organisation and documentation of your activities
Your profile
- Technical training in mechanics, electrical engineering, automation or mechatronics
- Ideally, experience as a member of a fire brigade and knowledge of your customers’ needs
- High degree of autonomy and ability to plan and complete your tasks
- Strong communication skills and keen interest in work covering the whole of French-speaking Switzerland
- Very good knowledge of French and German
