Workshop Instructor – Electronics Trainer 40%
The MSW is a training centre of the City of Winterthur for technical apprenticeships in the field of mechatronics. Thanks to the combination of the three learning locations under one roof, theory and practice can be optimally coordinated. This comprehensive training enables learners to transfer to the university of applied sciences and the MSW is an alternative to academic education. The MSW trains apprentices in the professions of automation, electronics, and polymechanics. To strengthen our team of electronics technicians, we are looking for a committed and motivated workshop instructor / trainer with a 40% workload from 1 September 2026 or by arrangement. If you have a passion for electronics and enjoy working with young people, we look forward to receiving your application. In this role, you will take on a variety of tasks in vocational basic training and support our learners on their way into the professional world.Your Tasks
- Professionally train, guide and lead apprentices in basic training
- Convey specialist, methodological and social skills
- Individually recognise and promote talents
Your Profile
- Completed training as an electronics technician EFZ with further education at tertiary level or equivalent training
- Knowledge in the areas of: layout, hardware development analogue and digital, visual and functional testing of electronic devices, testing and repair of assemblies, software development in C desirable
- Several years of professional experience as well as continuous further training in these areas
- Team-oriented, flexible and independent working style
- Willingness for continuous professional and pedagogical further training
