Your main tasks:

• Preparation and shaping: Taking precise measurements on site, cutting, shaping and drilling glass in the workshop according to technical plans.
• Installation and fitting: Installation of all types of glazing (single, double, triple insulating glazing, safety glass, shop windows, balustrades, fine glazing and glass partitions).
• Renovation and repair: Replacement of broken glazing, repair and sealing of joints to ensure waterproofing and thermal-acoustic insulation.
• Additional interventions: Installation and adjustment of window frames, and occasionally blinds or light closure systems.
• Safety: Handling sometimes heavy or specialised glass volumes in strict compliance with Suva safety standards.

• Training: Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a glazier, carpenter, metal constructor or equivalent training.
• Experience: Several years of proven experience in on-site installation in Switzerland, ideally in renovation and private sector.
• Technical skills: Mastery of cutting techniques, handling suction cups and various types of sealing mastics/silicones.
• Personal qualities: Complete autonomy on site, rigour, millimetre precision and excellent customer contact (private and professional clients).
• Driving licence: Driving licence (category B) essential for travel to sites.
