Associate - Corporate M&A

As part of the development of its Corporate / M&A practice, our client is seeking a motivated associate wishing to grow within a demanding, stimulating and collaborative environment.

A law firm based in Geneva.

Responsibilities

• Support Swiss and international clients in M&A transactions, restructurings and corporate deals.
• Participate in drafting and negotiating transactional documentation.
• Conduct legal audits (due diligences) and analyse associated risks.
• Advise clients on corporate law, governance and commercial law matters.
• Work closely with partners and other departments of the firm on complex and strategic cases.

Candidate Profile

• Holder of a Swiss bar admission.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in Corporate / M&A within a recognised law firm.
• Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written.
• Meticulous lawyer with excellent analytical and drafting skills.
• Team spirit, pragmatic approach and desire to thrive in a supportive and family-like environment.
