Project Manager HVAC (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager HVAC for the planning and realisation of demanding, energy-efficient building technology projects. You will be responsible for complex heating, ventilation, air conditioning and sanitary projects for hospitals, laboratory buildings, data centres, energy centres as well as industrial and commercial buildings. In addition to technical project management, you will take on cost and project controlling, specialist coordination, tendering and client consulting and lead interdisciplinary planning teams. A particular focus is on sustainable energy and building technology concepts, digital planning methods and the development of economical solutions for complex technical systems.

Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for the planning and realisation of complex large-scale HVAC projects from concept development to commissioning

• Development and dimensioning of sustainable heating, ventilation, air conditioning and sanitary concepts for technically demanding buildings and systems

• Management of building technology planning through the relevant SIA phases including design, tendering and realisation

• Leadership and coordination of interdisciplinary planning teams as well as coordination of interfaces between HVAC, electrical, building automation, architecture and construction

• Responsibility for costs, deadlines, quality and project controlling as well as ongoing monitoring of the economic project development

• Preparation of tenders, specifications and offer comparisons as well as technical support for awards

• Consulting of clients and principals on energy concepts, energy efficiency, decarbonisation and sustainable building technologies

• Use and further development of digital BIM and planning methods to coordinate and optimise complex building technology projects

• Technical support for the execution, commissioning, acceptance and quality assurance of the planned HVAC systems

• Coordination with clients, architects, specialist planners, authorities and contractors

• As senior project manager, participation in acquisition, offer preparation and client development as well as technical support and leadership of project staff

Qualifications:

• Completed education as Engineer FH/ETH or certified technician HF in the fields of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, sanitary, building technology or energy

• Several years of experience in planning and project management of complex HVAC projects, ideally in large-scale project environments

• Sound expertise in at least one HVAC discipline as well as a pronounced understanding of HVAC specialist coordination and trade interfaces

• Very good knowledge of the relevant SIA standards, energy and building technology standards as well as Swiss planning processes

• Experience in cost planning, tendering, awarding and project controlling

• Knowledge of BIM and digital planning and coordination processes

• Very good German language skills spoken and written
