Network and IT Security Engineer (m/f/d)

- Planning, implementation and optimisation of complex network and firewall environments for customers and data centres
- Responsibility for the further development and support of managed services in the areas of firewall, VPN and WLAN
- Leadership and coordination of demanding projects in the field of network infrastructure and IT security, focusing on successful implementation
- Development of innovative solution concepts for customers and continuous improvement of the product portfolio
- Mentoring of less experienced colleagues in 2nd/3rd level support
Qualifications:
- Completed IT training and ideally further education (e.g. HF, FH) in the field of network and IT security
- In-depth knowledge of routing & switching, firewalls (e.g. Fortinet, SonicWall), VPN and WLAN, with relevant certifications (e.g. Fortinet NSE, Cisco CCNP)
- Analytical thinking, self-responsibility and strong problem-solving skills
- Structured and service-oriented working style in complex environments
- Strong communication skills, team player with the ability to convey technical content clearly and understandably – in German and English
- Driving licence category B and willingness to visit customers
