We are looking for an AFP system catering apprentice for our restaurant.

The AFP apprenticeship in system catering is a 2-year training programme aimed at people who want to learn a practical, hands-on profession in a dynamic and structured environment.

Profile

This training is for you if:

• You have completed your compulsory schooling
• You have basic knowledge of French (spoken and written)
• You enjoy practical and manual work
• You like working in a team and being in contact with customers
• You are reliable, punctual and motivated to learn a profession
• You willingly follow clear instructions and processes
• You are resilient to stress and comfortable in a demanding environment
• Order, cleanliness and hygiene are among your priorities

Your future profession

As an AFP system catering apprentice, you will be trained mainly through daily practice in the restaurant, with support from experienced trainers.

You will learn in particular to:

• Prepare products according to quality and hygiene standards
• Welcome, serve and advise customers
• Work effectively in a team in various restaurant positions
• Respect food safety procedures and rules
• Maintain order and cleanliness at your workstation

Your training

The AFP training lasts 2 years and includes:

• Practical training directly in the restaurant
• Professional courses to deepen your theoretical knowledge
• Inter-company courses to link theory with practice

Your AFP federal professional training certificate is a solid first step for your professional future at McDonald's or in the catering sector.

Your career prospects

After your AFP, you will be able to:

• Enter the job market directly
• Or continue your training with a two-year bridge to the CFC in system catering.
