Team Leader Pipeline Construction District Heating (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF85,000 - 105,000Role:
In this role, you take on the technical leadership of the installation of district heating systems and ensure that all work is carried out efficiently, safely, and with high manufacturing quality. You are responsible for coordinating and guiding the installation team, making technical decisions, and ensuring the smooth implementation of projects in an industrial environment. With your expertise in district heating optimisation, you contribute to continuously increasing productivity and quality. You analyse existing processes, identify improvement potentials, and implement practical, sustainable solutions in pipeline construction. You always keep an overview of deadlines, resources, and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- You lead the pipeline construction team and are responsible for the timely, professional construction of district heating pipeline systems.
- In this role, you measure pipelines, cut, prepare, weld, and assemble the required pipe components.
- As the head of district heating system installation, you mainly work directly on site at construction sites and in trenches throughout Switzerland and are accordingly willing to travel.
- You consistently ensure high execution quality and guarantee complete documentation of the work.
- In this role, you use non-destructive testing methods to ensure the quality of the work performed.
- You always work reliably, carefully, and correctly and pass this working method on to your team.
Qualifications:
- You have proven experience in district heating and/or industrial pipeline construction.
- Ideally, you come from the fields of ventilation, heating, cooling, sanitation, district heating, plant and apparatus construction (specialising in pipeline construction), or from civil engineering as a foreman.
- You are skilled in the professional handling of steel and stainless steel.
- You take on the leadership of construction sites with one or more installation teams (each with 2-4 employees).
- You coordinate processes on the construction site efficiently and ensure quality, safety, and adherence to deadlines.
