Role:
To strengthen the existing team, an additional position is being created in the area of export and shipping. In this versatile role, you take on a central position between international freight forwarders, customers, sales and internal departments. You coordinate transports, are responsible for export processing and ensure that customer orders are handled reliably and on time.
Responsibilities:
You are the central contact person for international freight forwarders, obtain transport quotes and coordinate the corresponding transports
You independently handle export and domestic shipments and ensure timely delivery
You prepare export, customs and shipping documents as well as transport orders, delivery notes and invoices
You process customer orders and coordinate the necessary steps with internal and external contacts
You check transport invoices as well as the associated customs declarations
You support the sales team as needed and ensure mutual representation
Qualifications:
Several years of professional experience in export, shipping or international transport processing
Commercial basic training with further education in export or foreign trade
Good knowledge of customs, export and shipping processes
Confident use of MS Office and ideally experience with ERP systems
Very good German and English skills, spoken and written
Independent, structured and goal-oriented working style
Networked and economic thinking as well as enjoyment of cross-departmental collaboration
