Our intensive care unit is an SGI-certified intensive care unit (6 ventilation beds). The spectrum covers a wide range of medical and surgical intensive care medicine. YOUR TASKS
- Personnel and professional management of the intensive care unit together with the deputy Ensuring a high-quality intensive care provision in close interdisciplinary collaboration with internal specialist departments and partner doctors
- Active participation in service operations
- Continuous development of treatment processes and quality standards as well as promotion of training, further education and continuing education of medical and non-medical staff
- Staff management and promotion of collaboration, including building a respectful performance culture, managing administrative staff and participating in the recruitment of nursing staff.
- Representation of intensive care medicine internally and externally as well as maintaining a strong medical network
YOUR PROFILE
- Specialist in intensive care medicine and anaesthesia (Swiss specialist title or equivalent) with solid intensive care expertise and at least three years of specialist professional experience at a Swiss intensive care unit with a comparable patient collective and proven leadership experience
- Experience in cardio-intensive care medicine is an advantage
- Training in bedside ultrasound POCUS is an advantage
- Motivation to contribute to and further develop medically effective and economically efficient treatment processes together with specialised teams and our partner doctors.
- Interest and ability in staff management, reflected in your role model function on a human and professional level as well as in constructive interaction with patients, their relatives and our partner doctors
