Geberit Produktions AG almost never stands still. To keep it that way, a purchasing department is needed that acts proactively, recognises risks, and builds the right partnerships. You take responsibility for defined product groups and ensure that the required materials are optimally available in terms of cost, quality, and supply security. In close collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders, you actively shape the further development of our procurement and supply chain processes. Your tasks include in particular:

• Responsibility for the strategic procurement of the assigned product groups, taking into account costs, quality, delivery performance, and supply security
• Evaluation, selection, qualification, and further development of suppliers including contract and price negotiations as well as conducting supplier audits
• Identification, assessment, and minimisation of supplier and supply chain risks
• Close cooperation with internal stakeholders and implementation of group-wide procurement and optimisation projects
• Maintenance of relevant master data as well as preparation of reports, analyses, and key figures to manage the responsible product group portfolio
• Conducting cost analyses and realising sustainable savings taking into account total cost of ownership aspects

You have completed a commercial or technical basic education with further training in purchasing, supply chain management, or business administration. In addition, you are characterised by the following qualities and skills:

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in purchasing, ideally in an industrial environment
• Negotiation skills and enjoyment in building sustainable relationships with suppliers and internal contacts
• Analytical, structured, and independent working style combined with a pragmatic hands-on mentality
• Very good German skills as well as English skills at B2 level
