Financial Accounting Specialist (m/f/d)
Role:
In this role, you take responsibility for the timely and accurate management of financial accounting, thereby providing a reliable basis for all financial decisions. You prepare periodical financial statements, compile evaluations and analyses, and ensure that internal guidelines and external requirements are always met. Additionally, you review and post complex business transactions, coordinate interfaces with adjacent departments, and contribute to smooth processes in finance. With your professional expertise, you optimise existing processes, identify potential improvements, and actively drive their implementation. Through your structured and precise working style, you ensure that figures, reports, and documentation are always transparent, comprehensible, and audit-proof.
Responsibilities:
- You take a central role in the finance team and contribute to efficient, legally compliant processes
- In this role, you support the Head of Finance & Debt Collection and act as their deputy
- As a Financial Accounting Specialist, you ensure the monitoring of the entire financial and contribution system in accordance with legal requirements and AHV directives
- You prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as well as annual accounts for family compensation funds in Excel
- In this role, you participate in forecasts, budgeting, and budget controls and submit financial data to external parties on time
- As a Financial Accounting Specialist, you are responsible for accounts payable, withholding tax accounting, and communication with authorities, offices, members, and insured persons
Qualifications:
- You hold a Swiss federal diploma in finance and accounting and/or have several years of experience in finance and accounting
- Ideally, you have experience in the social insurance environment, possess a strong numerical understanding, sound accounting knowledge, and the willingness to take responsibility
- You think holistically and work solution-oriented
- You are a team-oriented, communicative, and reliable personality
- You work precisely, independently, and in a structured manner
- You are characterised by commitment, initiative, high motivation, and a strong customer and service orientation
