What you can achieve
- Further development of cantonal foundations, strategies and concepts in long-term and integrated care
- Promotion of cooperation between social and health care and strengthening cross-sectoral care
- Advising municipalities, institutions and political decision-makers on professional and strategic matters
- Preparation of decision-making bases, reports and consultations on political matters
- Coordination of expert committees and representation of the canton towards partner organisations and specialist offices
- Analysis of social developments and the care situation in the transition phase to the revised law
- Planning and support of projects for the further development of outpatient, intermediate and inpatient long-term care as well as other care services
What distinguishes you
- Completed studies in social or health sciences, social work, nursing, public health, gerontology or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in the social, health and administrative sectors as well as interest in care issues
- Experience in developing strategies, concepts and/or leading projects
- Understanding of the interrelations between health care, long-term care, municipal structures, prevention and social participation
- Ability to bring together different actors and interests and develop viable solutions
- Analytical, networked and conceptual thinking skills
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
- Strong communication skills as well as political acumen
