Senior Network & Security Engineer (m/f/d)
Responsibilities:
You manage network components in productive IT environments
You perform system updates and configuration adjustments
You support customers directly on site with a focus on network security
You identify vulnerabilities in the architecture and propose scalable solutions
You integrate your knowledge into interdisciplinary IT projects
Qualifications:
IT specialist with federal certificate of competence (EFZ) with solid expertise in network security and firewall design
Experience in the productive use of security solutions for networks, mail and web communication, as well as load balancing
Very good German language skills in spoken and written form
Operational experience with Fortinet, Cisco, Aruba and Trendmicro in complex network environments with segmented security zones
Tech stack: FortiGate, Cisco Switching, Aruba WLAN, Trendmicro, Email Security, Layer 3 Routing, Zone Architecture, Web Filter
