Clothing Designer, 80-100% (m/f/d)

Tasks

• Create and further develop clothing patterns
• Technical implementation of existing models and specifications
• Create and adjust pattern layouts as well as production patterns
• Fit controls and corresponding pattern corrections
• Grading of patterns for different sizes
• Create and maintain technical documents and pattern documentation
• Accompany sample parts and revise patterns until production readiness
• Close collaboration with production, product development and other internal departments
• Assessment of fit, proportions and processing from a pattern technology perspective
• Implementation of changes and optimisations considering quality, fit and efficient production
• The workload can, depending on preference, be between 80 and 100%

Requirements

• You have training as a clothing designer EFZ or equivalent
• Sound knowledge in pattern construction and fit
• Experience with grading and technical production documents
• Confident handling of common pattern technology / CAD systems
• Good knowledge of clothing processing and textile materials
• Strong technical understanding and a good eye for fit and details
• You also enjoy working with coarse materials
