The Centre for Social Affairs is one of the largest associations of its kind in Switzerland. On behalf of 28 municipalities with a catchment area of over 100,000 people, we are actively engaged, accessible, and networked in the following areas: Child and Adult Protection Authority (KESB), professional guardianship, social counselling, mother and father counselling, addiction counselling, and school social work.
HR Generalist
We in HR of the Central Services support all employees as well as managers at the three locations in Sursee and Hochdorf with their personnel concerns and are responsible for the administrative processes of human resources throughout the entire employee lifecycle. Our main office is located in Hochdorf. Due to a reduction in working hours within the team, we would like to expand the team to 4 people.
The position begins as maternity cover and will continue as a permanent position from summer 2027.
Your tasks
- Administrative and coordinative tasks related to personnel administration (entries & exits, changes, role changes, work references, etc.)
- Contact person for employees and managers on HR matters (operational, labour law, personnel policy, and salary-related topics)
- Management of personnel tools (salary, e-dossier, employee appraisals, time recording, work references, recruitment, etc.)
- Payroll accounting
- Assistance in recruitment
- Assistance in vocational training for commercial apprenticeships EBA and EFZ (8 apprentices)
- HR projects, HR controlling and statistics
- Occasional work in other areas as needed
Your profile
- Professional experience and further training in HR
- Social insurance specialist and/or HR specialist (advantageous)
- Systemic thinking
- Confident German, target group-appropriate language
- Numerical aptitude
- Good IT skills (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Motivation to carry out complex and demanding, but also simple tasks independently, conscientiously and efficiently
- Organisational talent, empathetic and proactive personality
- Willingness for ongoing training and professional development
