As part of the Agile Release Trains (ART) Data & Analytics, our DWH team is responsible for the business-critical Data Warehouse of CSS. Central data streams converge here, which are used daily by numerous specialist departments. In our Release Train, we ensure the reliable operation of the existing Teradata solution and at the same time drive the transformation towards the modern cloud data platform. This is what your everyday life looks like
- To the core: You take on the professional responsibility for our Teradata Data Warehouse and ensure its stability, quality and maintenance together with the team.
- You work closely with specialist departments, architects, engineers and other stakeholders, prioritise requirements and support the Product Manager in defining the roadmap.
- Thanks to your expertise, you understand the interrelationships across the entire value chain and can assess requirements from the source to business use in a well-founded manner.
- You contribute your technical expertise on complex issues around data integration and data quality and support the team operationally if necessary.
- There is no standstill with us: Today you are responsible for our central DWH as a product - in the future, you will take on a PO role on our modern cloud data platform.
- In doing so, you are part of an Agile Release Train that works according to the Lean-Agile mindset of SAFe and lives a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
This is what you bring with you
- First and foremost: You have several years of experience as a Product Owner in the DWH or data environment and have managed, further developed and successfully supported data warehouse solutions with end-to-end responsibility as a product - ideally in an agile environment.
- You have a degree (university/fachhochschule) in computer science, business informatics or a comparable education with a sound understanding of centralised data warehouse architectures and data platforms.
- You understand both the technical and the (financial) specialist perspective of data products and can successfully bring together different stakeholders.
- Very good knowledge of classic data warehouse technologies is part of your profile; Teradata experience and a background as a data engineer with a pronounced technical understanding are a plus.
- You appreciate the responsibility for business-critical systems and enjoy operating and maintaining a data warehouse sustainably and reliably. You work in a structured way, think in networks and communicate confidently with technical as well as specialist contacts.
- The icing on the cake: Knowledge of Azure, Databricks or modern cloud data platforms helps you actively shape our transformation but is not a prerequisite.
