Under the responsibility of the Core Infrastructure Manager, you will take charge of our Database domain and contribute to defining its long-term technological vision. You will play a key role in the performance, security, and evolution of critical platforms for the entire Group while supporting a team of experts and managing an ambitious roadmap serving digital transformation.
In this context, your activities include:
- Defining and driving the Database domain strategy in line with the Group’s IT directions.
- Ensuring the availability, performance, and security of database platforms.
- Overseeing business continuity, backup, and disaster recovery plans.
- Managing the modernisation of environments and handling technological obsolescence.
- Building and monitoring a multi-year roadmap integrating performance, security, and industrialisation.
- Supporting and developing a team of Database experts.
- Defining standards, processes, and best practices for the domain.
- Supervising technical projects related to data platforms.
- Managing the budget, suppliers, and contracts associated with your scope.
- You are responsible for the technical management of the service provider and end-to-end support of your domain.
- Collaborating closely with Infrastructure, Applications, and Data teams to support the Group’s business challenges.
Qualifications
- Solid experience in Database environments, gained in complex contexts where availability, performance, and security are critical issues.
- Demonstrated ability to unite, support, and develop technical teams towards excellence.
- A strategic vision enabling you to anticipate technological evolutions and build high-value roadmaps.
- Experience in managing critical infrastructures, with particular attention to resilience, business continuity, and cybersecurity.
- A pragmatic approach to project management, combining strategic thinking and operational execution.
- Ease in collaborating with diverse stakeholders, whether technical, business, or management members.
- Sensitivity to continuous improvement, process simplification, and service optimisation.
- A user-centric approach.
- At least 5 years of experience in managing technical teams, with a genuine interest in talent development and creating a collaborative work environment.
- Excellent communication in French, with the ability to operate in an international environment in English.
