Your tasks

• You can apply your specialised knowledge and experience in a targeted manner and actively support us in improving the processes of the care unit
• You contribute to ensuring that collaboration within the team is equal, constructive and interprofessional
• You help implement our care unit concept and continuously develop it with us
• In collaboration with the interprofessional care team, you contribute to stabilising patients and thus improving their quality of life
• In close cooperation with the management of the care unit, you ensure patient-centred, evidence-based and outcome-oriented care, especially in difficult situations
• You are responsible for ensuring and promoting the quality of care in the unit
• You provide specialised advice and coaching to nursing staff in the care treatment process
• You lead clinical case discussions within the team
• You actively participate in the implementation and development of the care unit concept

Your profile

• You have completed training as a registered nurse ES/HES
• You can demonstrate at least 2 years of professional experience in psychiatry, preferably in a therapeutic centre or a similar field
• You think in a goal- and person-oriented manner
• You cope well with stress and enjoy meeting the challenges encountered in an acute psychiatry unit

The University Psychiatric Centre of Bern (UPZ) is, as a university clinic, the main centre of competence in psychiatry and psychotherapy in the capital region.
