An established IT service company is seeking an experienced individual to further develop modern infrastructure, platform, and automation solutions. In this role, you will work at the interface between engineering, operations, and presales, significantly contributing to standardising processes, automating them, and building future-proof service architectures.
Your Responsibilities
- Architecture, design, and implementation of new infrastructure and platform solutions
- Further development of existing services and technical platforms
- Analysis, optimisation, and automation of existing operational processes
- Development of automation and provisioning solutions using PowerShell and modern automation frameworks
- Creation of technical concepts, standards, and operational documentation
- Support for engineering and operations teams with complex technical issues
- Technical consulting and coordination with presales and sales for new customer solutions
- Building standardized, scalable, and efficient service architectures
- Participation in strategic technology decisions and product developments
- Evaluation of new technologies and their integration into existing platforms
- Support with troubleshooting, escalation management, and performance optimisation
Our Requirements
- Several years of experience as a system engineer, consultant, solution architect, or in a comparable role
- Very good knowledge of Windows Server and Microsoft infrastructures
- Good knowledge of Linux server and platform environments
- Solid experience with PowerShell, scripting, and automation solutions
- Experience with modern operational and platform technologies in the areas of:
- Monitoring, compliance management, endpoint management, security platforms, hybrid and cloud infrastructures
- Ideally knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, and Entra ID
- Understanding of operational processes, standardisation, and service design
- Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Strong affinity for automation and sustainable technical solutions
- Very good German and good English skills
