Role:
In this role, you will manage and develop the ICT infrastructure for multiple locations as well as external clients and actively shape modern system landscapes. You are responsible for commissioning new ICT solutions and optimising existing architectures with a view to stability, security and future viability. As a Microsoft enthusiast, you work on the provision, scaling and further development of services in the cloud and on-premise. You take responsibility in demanding projects and contribute to sustainably establishing innovative solutions. If suitable, there is also the possibility to lead various initiatives as a project manager and help shape technical as well as organisational developments.
Responsibilities:
- You take system responsibility and provide 3rd level support for an extensive user and device environment.
- In this role, you maintain, service and further develop network components, telephony systems and server landscapes at all locations.
- You maintain the ticketing system as well as the CMDB and ensure proper documentation.
- As an IT systems engineer, you actively participate in IT projects and independently take on the management of sub-areas or entire projects.
- You evaluate new technologies, plan the architecture and accompany their introduction into the existing system landscape.
- In this role, you ensure the smooth operation and security of the entire IT infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ system technology and several years of professional experience in a comparable role
- Very good knowledge in the operation and maintenance of Microsoft Windows Server 2019 and higher as well as solid network environments
- Good German and English skills, both spoken and written, for communication with clients and within the team
- High customer and service orientation with enjoyment of direct contact and solution-oriented work
- Willingness to travel within Switzerland and Germany as well as a category B driving licence
- Experience with technologies such as Active Directory, Exchange Online, Hyper-V, Veeam, ESET, Microsoft365, Endpoint Central, PaperCut, Watchguard, Cambium Networks or Innovaphone is an advantage
