About the job
For our client, an innovative Swiss technology company, we are looking for a Field Service Technician. In this varied role, you will undertake service calls at customers’ premises, install and maintain modern measurement systems, and ensure the reliable operation of technical equipment. Additionally, you will support the internal service team with administrative and logistical tasks, thereby making an important contribution to a smooth service process.
- Performing service, repair and diagnostic work on technical equipment both on-site and in the workshop
- Analysing and resolving technical faults as well as ensuring high equipment availability
- Instructing and training customers in the use of the installed systems
- Providing technical advice and support for individual customer requirements
- Documenting completed service calls and contributing to the continuous optimisation of internal processes
- Initial professional experience in technical service, measurement technology or equipment maintenance is an advantage
- Enthusiasm for modern measurement, control and environmental technology as well as willingness to familiarise yourself with new technologies
- Independent, structured and customer-oriented working style
- Strong communication skills with a pronounced service orientation
- Driving licence category B and willingness to undertake regional and nationwide service calls
- Fluent German skills, additional languages are an advantage

Profile
- Completed technical basic training, for example as an automation technician, electrician, mechatronics technician, electronics technician or in a comparable field- Initial professional experience in technical service, measurement technology or equipment maintenance is an advantage
- Enthusiasm for modern measurement, control and environmental technology as well as willingness to familiarise yourself with new technologies
- Independent, structured and customer-oriented working style
- Strong communication skills with a pronounced service orientation
- Driving licence category B and willingness to undertake regional and nationwide service calls
- Fluent German skills, additional languages are an advantage
