Speculative Application for Re-entry into the Nursing Profession, Various Locations

Tasks

• Depending on your qualification/diploma, you will gradually take on the usual tasks of the respective competence level after thorough induction.
• You advise and support residents and their relatives.
• You carry out nursing and medical-technical procedures.
• You are responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring and adjusting the nursing process as well as delegating tasks to employees of other competence levels.

Profile

• Empathetic personality with a strong focus on people
• High motivation and the desire to re-enter the nursing profession after a break
• Completed nursing training (HF, DN II, DN I, AKP, PsyKP, IKP, PKP, FaGe) with SRK recognition for diplomas from abroad
• Good German language skills, both spoken and written, as well as good IT skills
• Enthusiasm for working independently, combined with team spirit and high resilience

During your induction, we will jointly assess whether re-entry is the right path for your professional future. We support you individually and accompany you step by step in everyday nursing. Depending on your needs, we also enable you to participate in courses at the SGZ Campus, the training centre of the Health Centres for the Elderly.

Depending on your training and relevant professional experience, employment is according to the municipal salary system (SLS). For example, the starting salary for a 100% workload is from CHF 5,030.– for a Health Specialist (FaGe) or from CHF 6,000.– for qualified nursing professionals HF. As with all City of Zurich employments, further salary development is possible.
