Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced professional as Project Manager Building Services Engineering HLKK to lead demanding heating, cooling, and air conditioning projects throughout Switzerland. You will take overall technical and economic responsibility and accompany projects from the feasibility study and conception through offer and contract management to implementation and handover. The focus is on heating and cooling technology, project management, cost and schedule management, and leading interdisciplinary project teams. The position combines technical project management with holistic consulting and the development of economic and sustainable building and operational concepts.
Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for demanding HLKK projects with a focus on heating and cooling from project development to completion
Preparation of feasibility studies, variant analyses, and technical concepts for heating, cooling, and energy supply systems
Technical and economic evaluation and optimisation of heat generation, cooling generation, and distribution systems
Responsibility for project budget, costs, schedules, quality, and resource planning as well as managing multiple projects from a portfolio perspective
Development of new projects including calculation, tendering, and contract management as well as participation in acquisition
Leadership and coordination of project teams, specialist planners, contractors, suppliers, and other specialists
Conducting tenders, offer comparisons, and awards as well as leading technical and commercial negotiations
Managing complex interfaces between heating, cooling, air conditioning, building automation, and other building services trades
Advising clients on the development of energy-efficient and sustainable building services and operational concepts
Monitoring execution regarding quality, costs, schedules, and technical specifications
Supporting commissioning, functional tests, acceptance, and optimisation of building services systems
Ensuring compliance with relevant SIA standards, SWKI guidelines, and Swiss energy and building services regulations
Qualifications:
Completed technical basic training in heating, cooling, air conditioning, or building services engineering
Further training as HF technician in building services engineering, FH building services engineer, or comparable higher professional education
Several years of professional experience in project management of HLKK systems, especially in heating and cooling
Sound knowledge in planning, system design, tendering, awarding, and contract management
Experience in managing costs, schedules, quality, and resources as well as in the technical leadership of project teams
Good knowledge of relevant SIA standards, SWKI guidelines, and Swiss building services regulations
Very good German language skills spoken and written; other national languages are an advantage
