The University Clinic for Geriatric Psychiatry and Psychotherapy Bern offers diverse and responsible tasks in acute psychiatry on the Streit ward. In a dynamic environment, you accompany patients with various clinical pictures through challenging crisis situations. The work is oriented towards a person-centred, recovery-oriented mission statement and combines a comprehensive range of non-pharmacological interventions to support the patients' self-efficacy. In addition to direct care, you take responsibility for the day-to-day supervision and promotion of FaGe trainees and HF students and actively shape the training of nursing junior staff.
Your tasks
- You provide person-centred, recovery-oriented care and support psychiatric patients in their self-determination and pursuit of their individual life goals
- You integrate non-pharmacological interventions into the support and daily routine of the patients
- You are part of the interprofessional team
- You support FaGe trainees and HF students on a day-to-day basis
- You actively contribute to improving the quality of care
Your profile
- You have completed training as a qualified nursing specialist HF/FH
- You communicate clearly, are empathetic and possess high social competence
- You work independently, professionally and responsibly
- You have very good German language skills, both spoken and written
