About the job
Shaping technology. Leading projects. Driving industrialisation.
Matti Technology AG in Sulgen develops and builds industrial digital inkjet machines for international customers. Highly integrated production systems are created, in which mechanical engineering, inkjet technology, control and drive technology, as well as software, interact. For the further development and industrialisation of a new plant concept, we are looking for an experienced individual who leads complex projects with clarity, technical understanding and strong implementation skills.
Senior Project Manager: High-Tech Plant Engineering
You will take overall responsibility for demanding special machine and plant projects with a scope of around CHF 1 to 10 million and manage these in terms of quality, costs and deadlines from the concept and order phase to final acceptance. In doing so, you structure project plans, milestones, resources and critical paths, identify risks early and ensure transparent decisions.
As a central hub, you lead the interdisciplinary collaboration between mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automation, software, procurement, production, assembly and commissioning. At the same time, you are a competent contact person for customers and partners. A particular focus is on the technical and economic further development of an innovative plant concept with the aim of creating robust standards and the prerequisites for successful industrialisation.
Your profile
You have a higher technical education, preferably as a mechanical engineer FH/ETH or with a comparable qualification, and bring several years of experience in managing complex machine, plant or production projects. Projects in the million range as well as responsibility for quality, costs and deadlines are familiar to you.
You combine technical understanding with pronounced project management competence and keep an overview even under demanding conditions. Your working style is structured and solution-oriented, your communication clear and binding. You lead with natural authority, make decisions and at the same time create an environment for constructive collaboration. Very good German and English skills as well as an international travel readiness of around 20 percent complete your profile.
What is offered to you
You can expect a key position with great scope for design in a Swiss technology company with high in-house engineering and manufacturing competence. You directly influence technical solutions, project methodology and industrialisation and accompany an innovative plant concept on its way to series maturity. Short decision-making paths, modern infrastructure at the Sulgen site and a demanding international customer environment offer an attractive setting for this.
