The Foundation of Child Life Centres « La Ruche » manages 6 care facilities looking after children from the end of maternity leave to 4 years old (preschool) and from school entry up to 12 years old (after-school care).

Foundation Director – 90% Day Care

A recognised player in day care for children in Gland and Vich, our Foundation works daily to provide quality care, respectful of the needs of children, families and teams. As part of our development, we are looking for a committed and visionary Director to ensure the general, educational and organisational management of the institution.

Under the authority of the Foundation Board, you will oversee all activities of the Foundation. You will ensure educational coherence, financial stability, governance and management of the managers, while guaranteeing quality and embodying the values of the institution.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support the educational management of all the Foundation’s structures and be a reference support for the Educational Managers.
• Ensure compliance with the SCAJE reference framework and the overall quality of care.
• Manage and support the administrative, kitchen and technical managers.
• Oversee Human Resources management and ensure efficient personnel management.
• Manage finances, establish budgets with the accountant ensuring the Foundation’s economic stability and report to the Board.
• Manage infrastructure and be the main contact for all stakeholders (suppliers, administrations, etc.).
• Represent the Foundation and collaborate with institutional partners (RAT, FAJE, SCAJE, OFAS, OSPES, FSAE, CPP, schools, Municipality of Gland, etc.).
• Ensure strategic direction and governance by providing the Board with necessary information for decision-making and implementing the Board’s strategic orientations.

Profile and Specific Skills

• Higher education in management of educational or social institutions or equivalent (DAS or MAS).
• Proven experience in a multidisciplinary and multisite management or leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of the early childhood legislative framework (SCAJE, FAJE).
• Strong skills in management, leadership and communication.
• Ability to unite, decide and lead in a complex environment around a shared vision.
