A private family based in Geneva is seeking an experienced Private Housekeeper to join their household team.
This is an operational and versatile position within a prestigious private residence, occupied by a small family. The person sought will primarily be a hands-on professional, capable of maintaining the highest standards of presentation, organisation, and service on a daily basis.
The Housekeeper will work under the direct responsibility of the House Manager and collaborate closely with other household staff, including the chef, laundress/housemaid, nanny, as well as with the Family Office team for certain administrative aspects related to the family’s daily life.

Main Responsibilities
Maintenance and Presentation of the Residence
- Ensure an impeccable level of cleanliness, order, and presentation throughout the residence.
- Perform housekeeping tasks when necessary and complement the work of the laundress/housemaid according to operational needs.
- Oversee the proper upkeep of bedrooms, bathrooms, reception areas, and common spaces.
- Carry out or supervise deep cleaning tasks.
- Carefully maintain fine materials, decorative objects, artworks, and high-end equipment.
- Prepare family and guest bedrooms to luxury hotel standards.
Organisation of Daily Family Life
- Anticipate the family’s needs and contribute to the smooth daily running of the residence.
- Participate in managing household stocks and supplies.
- Coordinate certain requests with the Family Office and external service providers when required.
- Keep storage areas, wardrobes, and pantries perfectly organised.
Reception and Hospitality
- Prepare the house for welcoming guests.
- Assist in organising lunches, private dinners, and family events at home.
- Provide discreet and elegant service during occasional receptions.
- Ensure the comfort of family members and their guests.
Teamwork
- Work effectively with all household staff.
- Apply priorities set by the House Manager.
- Help maintain a harmonious, professional, and supportive working atmosphere.
Confidentiality
- Maintain absolute confidentiality regarding the family, their activities, and guests.
- Demonstrate discretion, loyalty, and professionalism at all times.

Profile Sought
Experience
- Significant experience within a high-end private household, Family Office, or luxury hotel establishment.
- Excellent mastery of housekeeping and service standards specific to the UHNW (Ultra High Net Worth) environment.
- Experience in organising private receptions is appreciated.
Skills
- Fluent French is essential.
- Good command of English is highly valued.
- Driving licence is mandatory.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage priorities.
- Ability to work autonomously while integrating into a team.
- Keen attention to detail and pursuit of excellence.

Conditions
