Mechanical Technician

Our client, a leading Swiss technology company based in Prilly (VD), is looking for a mechanical technician. The role involves ensuring the reliability of equipment and installations used in demanding environments such as pharmaceuticals, life sciences, and chemistry, adhering to the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the assembly and fitting of precision mechanical components and sub-assemblies.

• Perform the necessary adjustments, settings, and checks to ensure product compliance.

• Conduct preventive maintenance operations and intervene during troubleshooting on production equipment.

• Participate in the continuous optimisation of installations to improve performance and reliability.

• Strictly apply the current quality, safety, and traceability procedures.

Profile

• Holder of a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a polymechanic, production mechanic, automation technician, or equivalent training.
• Initial successful experience in precision mechanical assembly and use of control instruments.
• Excellent manual dexterity, precision in execution, and a sense of meticulous work.
• Autonomous, rigorous person capable of effectively analysing technical issues.
• Comfortable in a demanding industrial environment, with an interest in production activities and continuous improvement.
• Valid Swiss work permit essential (Swiss citizen, valid B, C or G permit).
• Resident in the canton of Vaud to ensure proximity to the workplace and availability adapted to the needs of the position.
