In this role as a NOC Engineer in the Operations Control Centre, you monitor the security and functionality of critical infrastructures and thus contribute directly to the stability of essential systems. You take on varied tasks with tangible impact and apply your expertise in network and IT technologies with focus. You work in a dynamic environment where motivated, inquisitive, and solution-oriented action is required. Responsibilities:
You monitor and operate telecommunications, IT and OT systems and ensure their reliable operation
In case of disruptions, you take over incident management including recording, classification, prioritisation, and ticket tracking
In the Security Operations Centre (SOC), you analyse and handle security incidents and relevant events
You systematically narrow down complex IT, network and security disruptions, analyse their causes, and initiate appropriate measures
For rapid fault resolution, you coordinate field services, 2nd level support and external service providers
Qualifications:
You have completed studies in computer science, network technology or cybersecurity
You bring sound knowledge in IT and networks as well as experience with monitoring and ticketing tools
You have an interest in security, automation and AI tools
You are fluent in German and English both spoken and written; Italian is a plus. Willingness to work 24/7 shifts is expected
