Engineer specialised in High and Extra High Voltage Lines (Renens, Zürich, Paris or Lyon)

Within the Power Grids Global Business Unit, the Transmission department works on high and extra high voltage overhead line projects in Switzerland and internationally.

As part of the development of our activities, we are looking for a Project Engineer specialised in HV/EHV overhead lines, with significant experience in the field.

As such, your main tasks are as follows:

• Carry out design and sizing studies of high and extra high voltage overhead lines
• Participate in the various project phases, from feasibility to execution
• Model, analyse and verify structures using specialised software, particularly PLS-CADD and TOWER
• Contribute to the definition of routes and the sizing of supports, cables and associated components
• Prepare, check and coordinate project technical documents
• Provide your technical expertise to internal teams as well as in exchanges with clients and partners
• Contribute to the preparation of bids within your area of expertise

• Engineering degree in mechanical, structural, electrical or equivalent training
• Significant experience in the field of HV/EHV overhead lines
• Strong skills in design and sizing of overhead lines
• Very good command of PLS-CADD and TOWER software
• Ability to work autonomously on complex technical subjects
• Fluency in French
• Very good knowledge of English or German
