- As Project Manager you are responsible for defining activities, planning tasks to achieve the final objective for the benefit and service of our customers safely, with quality, on time and within defined costs.
- You facilitate cross-departmental work in a matrix organisation, between sectors and divisions both locally and throughout all regions of Switzerland.
- This role is sought within the scope of defining the industrialisation of modernisation and overhaul projects of rolling stock and concerns a fixed-term contract of 3 years.
What you can get moving.
- You lead complex projects in the maintenance and modernisation of our fleets by defining implementation activities, operational and economic objectives.
- You define processes, prepare documentation and train the involved employees.
- You are responsible for defining and creating the Supply Chain, with particular attention to standardisation, process optimisation, maintaining defined production times and costs, following the corporate strategy and with an end-to-end vision.
- The solutions and methods identified and implemented must be sustainable in all areas using SBB Best Practices; applying waste elimination using Lean techniques including 5S.
- You are the point of contact in all corporate areas until the industrialisation phase is completed, supervising, monitoring and taking necessary measures to maintain costs, quality and times defined to the complete satisfaction of the customer and preparing the necessary reports for stakeholders.
- Finally, you manage risks by anticipating problems with appropriate measures.
What you bring with you.
- You are a dynamic, organised, precise, proactive person with good communication, collaboration and negotiation skills, responsible and with leadership qualities.
- Skills in Lean techniques of standardisation and problem solving, able to resolve and anticipate problems, with strong abilities in identifying the true causes of problems and identifying opportunities.
- You have 2-7 years of work experience in a field related to the railway sector.
- You have proven experience in Project Management and experience in Supply Chain.
- You have completed technical training at ETH/EPFL - SUP/FH or equivalent training with appropriate experience.
- You have a good knowledge of Italian and good spoken and written knowledge of German (B2) and English (B2).
